Metal detecting recovered a post medieval gilded silver devotional pendant. This depicts a bearded bust in relief surrounded by twenty filigree circles with pellets in the centres.

Full description

Before 26 February 2001. Metal detecting.
Early post medieval gilded silver pendant: circular with integral suspension loop engaged with tiny (5mm diameter) silver ring. A bearded bust in relief set within a central circular field, surrounded by a slightly raised rim. Outside this are twenty filigree circles with pellets in the centres. Another slightly raised rim runs around the perimeter. The central sunken field is damaged and cracked. Considerable wear on the suspension loop and ring.
Diameter 20mm. Weight 1.62g.
To be considered as treasure.
