Full description

Late 18th century facade, rear is of 1680.

October 1951. Listed, Grade II.
Various dates, mainly 17th and 18th centuries.
East side of 2 storeys and three bays, each bay set back from that to right, with late 18th century crenellations.
North bay is return of original house about 1650. English bond. Hipped roof gabled into main roof.
Lower central bay with Tuscan doorway; pediment extended to cover margin lights.
South bay identical to north 'thus lending the facade an uneasy symmetry'.
These are alterations to a house of about 1660 to 70, itself extended.
Gabled roof of original range has axial stack.
On north front one original bay with platband and blocked windows.
Rear range (west front) 1670 to 80, 2 storeys and dormers, offcentre door. Rusticated surrounds and pilaster strips to sash windows; dentilled platband midwall as well as eaves.
Staircase of about 1670 to 80 rises to attics.
