Metal detecting in 1998 recovered part of a medieval seal matrix and a medieval mount at this location. Part of the inscription on the seal matrix is still legible and may read 'Seal of Mar)ia of Biv..'.

Fragment of a large lead seal matrix. Around a fleur-de-lis is a well-cut legend: the surviving portion reads '...IEDEBIV…'. (Seal of Mar)ia of Biv.. [or other female name].
