April - May 1999. Metal detecting. Height OD 30m. Part of field.
Flint scraper and notched piece.
Undatable metal objects
Post medieval and undatable spindle whorl.
Post medieval buckle and cloth seal
Roman, Late Saxon, medieval, post medieval sherds.

June - July 1999. Metal detecting.
H. Geake (A&E) and A. Rogerson (NLA) identified;
Late Iron Age/Roman one-piece Colchester brooch, deep wings, forward-facing hook, oval section bow, remains of catchplate; spring chord and pin missing. 1st century.
Expanded foot of Roman brooch, all edges missing. Central broad groove between pair of narrower grooves. Perhaps a lion bow derivative (See (S1), no.779), possibly Aesica (see (S1), no.1475). 1st century.
