Before 2004 a Late Bronze Age axehead tip; Roman brooches and mounts and a figurine of Mercury; Early Saxon brooches and a wrist clasp; a Middle Saxon gold and garnet pendant; medieval brooches and a pilgrim badge and post-medieval metalwork were found within the parish of Diss. There is no precise locational information available for these finds.

Before November 1998.
Seen at NCM by H. Geake (A&E) via the Valued History Shop (Cambridge).
Apparently found over last 20 years.
Roman objects including figurine of Mercury, brooches and decorative mounts, one in the shape of a man's head.
Early Saxon brooches.
Middle Saxon gold and garnet pendant.
Medieval pilgrim badge of St Barbara, brooch, and post-medieval metalwork.
