Full description

Barrow.
106m (350ft) east of NHER 3667.
23m (26yds) diameter, 91cm (3ft) high.
No visible ditch (A. Q. Watson).
Only 61cm (2ft) high on 30 January 1955 when under plough.

This barrow is NOT scheduled despite former confusion with NHER 3667 which is.

Site in piece of old heathland, between 2 sections of plantation. Slight rise in ground level, noted against plantation. Gamekeeper [1] who has known the site for years recalls mound was flattened at least 15 years ago after damage by locals 'quarrying' and rabbit infestation.
