Metal detecting on this site uncovered a medieval conical seal matrix. It is a circular die engraved with a lion's head facing front with its tongue sticking out. Inscribed around it is * S ' IOhAN DE VCAM ('Seal of John of Uckham'?).

Conical seal matrix with hexagonal facetted handle ending in a lozenge terminal pierced with a quatrefoil. Circular die engraved with a lion's head, facing front, tongue sticking out, and, around, * S ' IOhAN DE VCAM (`Seal of John of Uckham'?).
