Full description

June 1972. Listed, Grade II.
Listing Description Excerpt:
"16th century with mid 19th-century large wing on right hand, timber framed, plastered. Original pantile roof has been partly raised and partly remains behind windows inserted to match others but lighting no rooms. Six-panel fielded door. Mid 19th-century pointed arched porch, and door in 16th-century style."

Basically a high quality mid 16th century house.
Present plan is half H shaped but the wings may not be original.
Altered around 1800 when new roof placed on top of old, walls raised and new windows inserted.
Gothic porch added in about 1890.
In 1960s a central section of the house was cut away and wings added.
