Summary

This World War Two spigot mortar emplacement was built in 1940. It stands around 5m behind a pillbox (NHER 32411). The pin used to hold the gun in place has gone rusty. This is unusual because these were normally made of stainless steel.

Common 1940 spigot mortar gun emplacement situated 5m behind pill box E2-3 (NHER 19720). Unusually has rusty pintel.
