Name:Possible medieval earthworks and possible prehistoric burnt mound

Summary

Possible medieval earthworks and a possible prehistoric burnt mound have been recorded in this area. The earthworks may be part of the moated site (NHER 11388) located to north. The presence of prehistoric burnt flints may indicate the site of a prehistoric burnt mound. Fieldwalking during 1994-2001 has recovered a prehistoric flint flake, medieval and post medieval pottery sherds and numerous fragments of undated lava quern.
