Summary

Metal-detecting between 1994 and 2013 recovered a Neolithic flint knife; pottery dating from the Late Saxon to the post-medieval period; medieval and post-medieval coins; a post-medieval token and and undated, Roman, Early Saxon, medieval and post medieval metal objects. The metal finds include undated casting waste; a Roman brooch and stud; an Early Saxon brooch; medieval dress accessories, a bell, part of a candlestick, a key and part of a trivet and a post-medieval weight.

September 1994. Metal detecting finds.
Found by [1].
Roman brooch. Dolphin type, spring mechanism, very wide wings.
1 medieval coin. See list in file.
2 medieval keys (one with hollow stem, 1 solid). Lengths 43 and 34mm.

Lozengiform ?Roman stud.
Cylindrical medieval bell with pierced loop and open triangles around 'shoulders'.
