Summary

Fieldwalking recovered prehistoric worked flints and pieces of Roman, Late Saxon, medieval and post medieval pot. The Roman pot included high status Nene Valley ware and samian. The number of finds suggests this may be a small Roman settlement.

(S2) records as a small Roman site to the north of old Buckenham stream. Much of the pottery was heavily abraded.
