|Type of record:||Monument|
|Name:||Undated earthworks and post medieval bank|
A visit identified a series of earthworks at this site. A hollow way that is marked on Faden's map of 1797 as running next to the common can be seen as a shallow depression.

February 1993. Site visited in NLA earthworks survey fieldwork.
Hollow way extending south from farm buildings, for approximately 200m (it may be coincident with old watercourse) 0.3m deep and banked in part on both sides. Higher level to west than to east. Appears to correspond to common edge roadway shown on Fadens map. Therefore all features (drains etc) to west would seem to be post 1789. Enclosure
bank in lawn in front of house with possible earlier drive as bank to north.
B.Cushion (NLA) 12 February 1993.
