April 1986. Route of new A11. Found with metal detecting.
Crossbow brooch prototype ?175 to 225 AD.
Identified by D. Mackreth

April 1987. Found with metal detecting
Large amount of spoil from roadworks.
Part of four sided Stuart period lead cloth seal. Royal Arms soon after 1610, when alnage went over to that type. Identified by G. Egan (Museum of London)
