Name:Possible medieval settlement

Summary

Fieldwalking recovered prehistoric worked flints and fragments of Roman, medieval and post medieval pottery. A piece of medieval roof tile was also found. The concentration of medieval finds suggests this was an area of medieval settlement perhaps associated with filled in clay extraction pits noticed in the field.
