Summary

A Neolithic or Early Bronze Age flint axehead was found on the surface of the field. Metal detecting recovered Romano-British, Late Saxon, medieval and post medieval metal objects. These included a gold coin of Henry VI made between 1470 and 1471.

Full description

April 1984. Found on surface of ploughed field. In middle of north part of field north of Millstone Cottage
Triangular chipped axehead of Neolithic to Early Bronze Age type.
