October 1981 (or earlier). Fieldwalking. Hales Survey.
Field south of earthworks:
12 medieval pottery sherds (unglazed).
1 undatable pottery sherd (oxidised).
7 peg roof tile fragments

1 Mesolithic flint axehead. Damaged cutting edge, triangular section and untrimmed butt. See drawing (S2).
