Metal detecting recovered parts of two Early Saxon brooches. The site has been interpreted as being an Early Saxon cemetery. A medieval seal matrix was also found. Fieldwalking as part of the Fenland Survey recovered pieces of medieval pottery but no further evidence for the Early Saxon cemetery.
