Area of Cliff Road - Beeston Road - Regis Street junction.
Watermill marked on Faden's map 1797 (S1).

Location can be made more accurate [1] from (S2) which shows the building on the site of what is now Hampden House, 17 Beeston Road, a late 19th century villa. It has a large millpond extending to the southeast.
