|Name:||Late Bronze and Early Iron Age settlement|
Evaluation in advance of the building of Aylsham bypass noted the presence of many pits containing Iron Age and Bronze Age pottery after the topsoil has been stripped. Roman and medieval pottery was also recovered. These extensive features indicate a Late Bronze Age to Early Iron Age settlement over 500m in length. These may be related to nearby cropmarks NHER 12772.
