Full description

Rusticated beaker of Clarke type 'FP' and beaker of Clarke type 'S4'.
(S1) claims these two are in the BM registered as '8.7.37'.
But no such BM registration numbers exist and the BM Index Locorum gives no finds from Great Massingham apart from flints.
E. Rose (NAU) 30 April 1979.

The British Museum's records now list 2 ?Beaker sherds from Great Massingham (POA.188.1-2). These are presumably the sherds examined by Clarke.
P. Watkins (HES), 16 March 2016.
