Summary
During the 19th century a medieval coin hoard was found behind the King's Head. It comprised a jug inside which were over 300 silver coins, all of which were minted during the reign of Edward III. One coin was of David II of Scotland.

Before 14 April 1837.
Said to have been found at rear of King's Head in Litcham by [1].
Medieval coin hoard in jug, possibly Grimston ware. About 300 silver coins. Temp Edward III.
