This terrace of houses has a 15th century gable wall but the rest is 17th century. Prior to restoration in 1976 the roofs were heavily warped.

Full description

13 October 1976. Visit.
L-shaped block between Church Road and river. Terrace of cottages, equal in height along road but descending in
steps to river with roofs warped up like the bows of ships. This feature was lost in a total restoration in 1976. Appear 18th century; (S1) claims 17th century with 15th century west wall. Latter not seen on visit, but interior full of rubble being gutted and so not all visible.

(S2) confirms medieval gable wall and house 17th century. Blocked pointed arched window in flint and brick gable wall, with brick head.
