Summary

This is possibly the site of a 17th century moated house. The stable block dates to the 17th century and may have belonged to this earlier hall. The present building is 18th century red brick construction with seven bays, the centre three recessed, and three storeys. It was designed by John Buxton. There have been some 19th century alterations.

Site of 17th century moated house? 17th century stables. Present hall 18th century. Poor condition.

(S2) calls this house Earsham Lodge or Hall. The name Earsham Lodge is now used for the 19th century house in the village.
