Full description

Moat (OS). Visited 1990.
A subrectangular homestead moat situated on flat ground. It is complete and waterfilled and measures 56.0m north to
south and 36.0m east to west. The arms are 1.5m deep and 11.0m across at the widest point. A modern footbridge spans the east arm. The interior of the moat is an orchard and is covered with nettles, but there is no evidence of a former building. (S1).
