Full description

September 1976. Visit. Old brickfields.
These have all been brought under cultivation, but little attempt at levelling has been made, and great undulations are still visible in the ploughed fields. The wood at the south end covers the old brick pits, still there and full of rubbish. A land drain made at these works is on show at Pettitt's Ltd's exhibition, Reedham.
E. Rose (NAU), 22 September 1976.
