Name:Bronze Age metalwork hoard

Summary

In 1844 a hoard of Bronze Age metalwork was discovered during the digging of a ditch. It included more than twenty-two objects, including at least ten socketed axes, two winged axes, one spearhead, one palstave, one hammer, two chisels and five gouges.
