Heritage Memories

The Norfolk Heritage Explorer is an opportunity to record and make accessible memories and reminiscences of archaeological sites, historic buildings or important finds in Norfolk.

Did you go on an archaeological excavation in Norfolk as a child or a student, did you live in an important historic building or were you living nearby when a famous archaeological finds was unearthed?

If so, we'd like to hear from you.

Our first Heritage Memory is from Eddie Holden, who remembers visiting the Roman town at Caistor St Edmund (NHER 9786) as a child in the 1930s, and seeing the early excavations there.

For Eddie's memories see the article Caistor St Edmund Roman Town; Eddie Holden Remembers (TNF2325).
