Watercolour Sketches of New Buckenham

I have sketched my way around a few Norfolk villages but New Buckenham is without doubt my favourite. I find it's vernacular architecture very 'paintable' with it's quirky rooflines, traditional material textures and sympathetic colours. It really is an enjoyable experience just sitting and sketching. Although the village is protected by being in a conservation area, things do subtly change so I feel my sketches have captured the village at a point in time.
