Summary

In 1968 the lower half of a puddingstone quern was recovered near Hardingham Mill, with the remnants of an iron spindle. It is thought that both objects may date to the Roman period.

Lower half of puddingstone quern found near Hardingham Mill (which is on the boundary of Hardingham and Runhall) with remnants of iron spindle. ?Roman.
