Record Details

NHER Number:7941
Type of record:Monument
Name:Roman pottery sherds and iron working debris

Summary

It is recorded that iron working debris and Roman pottery sherds were recovered in or before 1958. Situated close to other sites known to be part of the Roman settlement at Scole (NHER 1007, NHER 7934) it seems likely that this may be associated with the iron working already associated with this area (NHER 1008).
