Full description

4th December 1980. Visit.
Windmill. Built in about 1820. It had Cubitt's patent sails (tower mill).
Burnt down 1912.

Now the brick tower remains, derelict; wide for its height, about three storeys high. It has a conical metal cap, put on since the fire. Fenced off and not closely accessible.
