Earthworks of round barrow, visible on the 1946 RAF aerial photographs (S1). The diameter of the mound appears to be around 25m, although the exact dimensions may be being obscured by vegetation. A rectangular trench like feature is possibly visible at TG 0741 4188, measuring 3.5m by 2m. This may relate to antiquarian activity or possibly modern military digging on the heath.
