THIS STRUCTURE WAS FORMERLY RECORDED UNDER NHER 26747.

January 2001. NMP.
A square structure is visible on the 1945 and 1952 aerial photographs (S1 and S2). It is probably a pillbox, and may well have been intended to make sure the east ends of the defensive earthwork banks (recorded under NHER 26747) were defended.
