Summary

A single trench was excavated at Almary Green as part of an archaeological watching brief, which included 14 further trenches, recorded as NHER 45440. At the base of the trench was a red brick 19th century culvert, the upper fills of the cut for which were disturbed by a modern service trench. No finds were recovered.

October 2006. Watching Brief.
Monitoring of sewer repair. Contexts 1-8.
A single trench was excavated at Almary Green at the same time as 14 further trenches, recorded as NHER 45440.
At the base of the trench was a red brick 19th century culvert, the upper fills of the cut for the culvert were cut by a modern service trench. No finds were recovered.
