Summary

Nos 1 and 2 Norwich Road is a two storey 16th century plastered timber-framed house refashioned in the 18th century, with a steep hipped black glazed pantile roof. The building has a brick chimney stack off centre, and another near the west end. There are two doorways in front of the chimney stacks, and these have shouldered architrave doorcases with pediments and fielded panel doors.

June 1981. Listed, Grade II.
Listing Description Excerpt:
"Nos 1 and 2 Norwich Road.
16th century timber-frame house refashioned in 18th century. Plastered. Steep hipped blackglazed pantile roof. Modillion eaves cornice. Brick chimney stack off centre and another near west end. Two storeys. Four widely spaced windows. 18th or 19th century three light casements."
