May 1987. Listed, Grade II.
Listing Description:
The Beeches, Mundesley Road. Swafield.
Farmhouse. Late 18th century. Rendered brick and flint with slate roof. Two storeys in three bays. Central panelled door and overlight within timber case. Ground floor fenestration in form of shuttered French windows. Three early 19th century three-light casements to first floor. Timber tie plate at eaves line below raised wall. Gabled roof, the gables on kneelers at the level of the tie plate. Internal gable end stacks.
