The Grange is a house of around 1830 of gault brick with a slate roof. This two storey house has a slightly pojecting centre bay and a central door with a rubbed brick semi-circular arch. This house has a hipped roof with two stacks and a north service wing.

House. Around 1830. Gault brick, slate roof. Two storeys, three bay front pile, three window double pile north service wing. Front pile has two ground floor sashes with glazing bars under flat rubbed brick arches within semi-circular rubbed brick arched recesses. Three first floor sashes with glazing bars under flat rubbed brick arches. Centre bay projects slightly forward. Central door has outer rubbed brick semi-circular arch. Doorcase with flush architrave recessed within inner brick arch, with wooden raised and fielded reveals and intrados. Raised and fielded door, simple arched fanlight. End pilaster strips with centre panel recessions. Deep projecting Tuscan eaves cornice. Hipped roof with two stacks. East and west single bay returns. East face of north service wing has two ground and two first floor sashes with glazing bars under flat rubbed brick arches. One ground floor glazed door. Single ground floor doorcase with pilasters, pentice canopy, panelled door with rectangular fanlight.
