Full description

House, constructed by Lionel Smith for himself 1955 to 1956 on empty site.
Pale brick, pantiles. Gabled north to south with imitation external gable stacks. To northwest an attached storage pavilion with slate hung upper storey. Interior has wide staircase against east wall. Door to east with plaque:

Lionel Smith was the winner of the competition for Margate Civic Centre in 1940, and architect of Westminster highways depot (1936) and Norwich School extension (1958).
