Summary

A cropmark of a ring ditch, possible a Bronze Age round barrow, is visible on aerial photographs. The ring ditch is complete and sub-circular in plan. It has a 16m external diameter and a narrow ditch. This ring ditch is likely to be of Bronze Age date and it may relate to a round barrow. It is located on a gentle north-facing slope at approximately 12m OD. Surrounding this ring ditch is an extensive cropmark complex that includes a possible Bronze Age field system (NHER 12828). Other ring ditch cropmarks of possible Bronze Age date are located to the southwest (NHER 27605), south (NHER 27606) and northeast (NHER 27611).

A cropmark of a ring ditch, possible a Bronze Age round barrow, is visible on aerial photographs (S1). This cropmark is located at TG 5047 1412. The ring ditch is complete and sub-circular in plan. It has a 16m external diameter and a narrow ditch. This ring ditch is likely to be of Bronze Age date and it may relate to a round barrow. It is located on a gentle north-facing slope at approximately 12m OD. Surrounding this ring ditch is an extensive cropmark complex that includes a possible Bronze Age field system (NHER 12828). Other ring ditch cropmarks of possible Bronze Age date are located to the southwest (NHER 27605), south (NHER 27606) and northeast (NHER 27611).
