Full description

August 2004. Norfolk NMP.
A cropmark of a ring ditch, probably a Bronze Age round barrow, is visible on aerial photographs (S1). This cropmark was previously recorded as part of NHER 21774 and is centred on TG 3605 2973. The ring ditch has a diameter of 23m with a broad ditch, measuring up to 4m wide. Evidence of an internal mound is also visible. A possible causeway extends from the mound part way across the ditch on its southeast side. A second ring ditch lies 230m to the south (NHER 38703).
