Name:Bronze Age dagger and Roman dish

Summary

A Bronze Age dagger and a Roman pewter dish, or lanx, found in the late 19th century. The Roman dish has a central circular panel filled with a chequerboard pattern and an inscription around the rim. Soilmarks of unknown date, as well as scraps of daub and fragments of rotted wood have been recorded on the site by the Ordnance Survey.
