Summary
Sometime before 1908 a Roman steelyard made from copper alloy was recovered from Wereham. The steelyard had two hooks, with the larger one made from iron bearing the maker's stamp (Aduatucus). The exact location and circumstances of its discovery is not known.

Bronze steelyard 18.1cm (7.13in) long with two hooks, larger one of iron bearing maker's stamp ADATVVCVS = Aduatucus from tribal name. See for comparison (S1) and (S2).
