A probably 18th century artificial waterway, made to connect the village of Geldeston with the River Waveney. The cut was updated in the 20th century after the closure of the railway.

Full description

An artificial cut, made to connect the village of Geldeston with the Waveney. Although the latter was improved for navigation in 1673 it is more likely the Cut is 18th century according to (S1). Since closure of railway a new cut has been made through the embankment parallel to the bridge.
