Full description

April 2004. Norfolk NMP
Cropmarks of a rectilinear enclosure, of possible Roman date, and associated field boundary ditches are visible on aerial photographs (S1). The enclosure measures 80m by 60m and has a possible ditch defined trackway along its northern side. Although no dating evidence is associated with this cropmark, its form suggests that it may be of Roman date. Isolated ditches on a similar alignment, possible contemporary field boundaries, are present 50m to the west.
