Full description

1858 to 1859. In the Fens.
A copper alloy socketed sickle found by man who also found a palstave and a short (14.6cm) copper alloy rapier, just under 2.5cm wide. Broad midrib and 2 notches
Sickle 144mm long deeply corroded.
Width of blade 22mm, sickle sharp on both sides.
Open cylindrical socket.
