Metal-detecting undertaken between 1999 and 2019 recovered Middle Iron Age to Roman, and medieval pottery sherds; Late Iron Age, Roman, medieval and post-medieval coins; as well as undated, Roman, and Early Saxon to post-medieval metal objects. The metal finds include undated casting waste; a Roman seal box and finger ring fragment; Early Saxon brooches; a Middle Saxon pin and possible spoon; a Late Saxon brooch; a medieval seal matrix and harness pendant; and a post-medieval dress hook, spur, and sword fragment.
