Summary

Fieldwalking undertaken before July 2001 recovered a selection of sherds dating from the prehistoric period through to the post medieval period, along with a large number of medieval roof tile fragments. Pottery types found included sherds of Saxon pimply Ipswich Ware and medieval glazed Grimston Ware.

Within small field.
Undatable prehistoric flint.
Small numbers of Iron Age, Roman, Middle Saxon, Late Saxon, medieval and post medieval sherds.
Twenty-nine medieval roofing tile fragments.
