Windmill marked on Bryant's map 1826 (S1).
E. Rose (NLA), 13 March 2001.

(S2) states it was a smockmill called 'new erected' in 1825 and is recorded up to 1840 after which it was blown away (yet it is not shown on the first edition 1" Ordnance Survey map of 1838 (S3)).
