Frequent metal detecting from 2000 to 2012 has recovered a large number of objects from the Late Bronze Age to the post medieval period. This includes Late Bronze Age casting waste, an Iron Age brooch and an Early Saxon brooch.

Before 6 October 2000. Metal detecting. [1]
Late Iron Age/Roman incomplete Ae penannular brooch, Fowler type C, distorted, pin and one terminal missing (fresh break). Round section frame with flattened terminal(s). Diameter approx 40mm. First century BC or Roman period.
